Description

The project involved the construction of a new off-ramp from the Bass Highway eastbound to the Westbury Road Interchange and closing of the existing substandard off-ramp.

The project involved the construction of:-
  • Clearing and grubbing;
  • Excavation and placement of embankment including importation of fill due to shortfall;
  • Surface, underground and subsoil drainage;
  • Stormwater structures works
  • Supply and installation of streetlighting works
  • Cutting of existing pavement;
  • Supply and placement of pavement base and subbase material;
  • Supply and placement of bitumen surfacing;
  • Installation of traffic facilities, pavement marking and signs;
  • Environmental management;
  • Traffic management;
  • Landscaping;
  • New boundary fencing including security fencing
  • Sundry minor works.
