SIMON HEAZLEWOOD

Project Manager / Managing Director

Simon is the Managing Director of DCS Civil Tas Pty Ltd. Simon leads the senior management team that deal with the operations of the business. Simon’s role includes project management, development and/or review of tender submissions, review and improvement of the management systems, assistance in company/project budgeting and cost control, project management and supervision.

JASON LENNARD

Project Manager

Jason is an experienced Project Manager who commenced with DCS Civil in 2013. Prior to joining DCS Jason had significant involvement working on major design and construct projects such as the Southern and Northern Sections of the Brighton Bypass and management of the design phase of the Midlands Water Scheme Pipeline. Since joining DCS Civil Jason has worked on Marine Construction works including the reconstruction of sections of Macquarie Wharf and Franklin Wharf, Remediation works at Macquarie Wharf and Princes Wharf. Jason has also worked Civil Construction projects including Bellerive Outfall, Southern Outlet Slip Lane Extension Olinda Grove, Maypole Stormwater Upgrade, Arthur Highway Overtaking Lanes East of Iron Creek Bridge, Doctors Creek Bridge Reconstruction, Wacketts Creek Bridge Reconstruction and Apsley River Bridge Reconstruction.

MUHAMMED KHAN

Project Manager

Muhammed is an experienced Project Manager who commenced with DCS Civil in 2017. Prior to joining DCS Civil Muhammed worked on numerous high profile projects including Northern Section of the Brighton Bypass, the construction phase of the Midlands Water Scheme Pipeline and the Brooker Highway Elwick Road Upgrade. Muhammed has also worked for Design Consultancies and has experience in performing the role of Superintendent’s Representative for various clients. Since joining DCS Civil Muhammed has worked on road projects such as the Lyell Highway Hamilton to Ouse Shoulder Widening, Great Eastern Drive Safety Improvements 9 Junction upgrades. Muhammed has also managed Doctors Creek Bridge Reconstruction, Wacketts Creek Bridge Reconstruction and Apsley River Bridge Reconstruction.

ANGELA LINNANE

Project Manager

Angela is an experienced Project Manager who commenced with DCS Civil in 2020. Prior to joining DCS Civil Angela worked on projects such as the Kingston Bypass, the Tasman Bridge Concrete Repairs and Cathodic Protection, Montagu Bay Interchange, Summerleas Huon Highway Interchange. Angela was the lead estimator for a large Civil Construction Company based in Tasmania. Since joining DCS Civil Angela has taken the role as lead estimator and has focused on improving the quality and efficiency of our estimating/quoting by implementing the Expert Estimator software package to DCS. Angela has also Project Managed the Goshawk Way Stage 2 project which involves the installation of pedestrian underpass and the construction of two roundabouts at Kingston.

PAT MURPHY

Project Supervisor

Patrick joined DCS Civil in 2017 and is a project supervisor with 19 years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining DCS Civil Patrick Murphy worked on several high profile projects such as the Northern Section of the Brighton Bypass and the Brooker Highway Elwick Road Upgrade. Since joining DCS Civil Patrick has worked on project including the Richmond Road Stage 6 Works, Great Eastern Drive Safety Improvements 9 Junction upgrades, Maypole Stormwater Upgrade, Arthur Highway Overtaking Lanes East of Iron Creek Bridge, Bass Highway Prospect Off Ramp Extension, roadworks for Apsley River Bridge approaches. Patrick has supervised multi-faceted projects and delivered them on time and on budget with a range of large and medium sized construction businesses within Australia. Patrick brings along a strong focus on work, health and safety, quality workmanship and client relationships.

ADAM DUGGAN

Project Supervisor

Adam joined DCS Civil in 2022 and is a Project Supervisor with 14 years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining DCS Adam worked on projects such as Midlands Highway St Peters Pass, Brooker Highway Elwick Road Upgrade, Rosebury Tailings Dam, Southeast and Midlands Irrigation Schemes, Huon Highway Sandfly Junction and Bryn Estyn Sludge Pan Upgrades. Since joining DCS Civil Adam has worked on the Goshawk Way Stage 2 project which involves the installation of pedestrian underpass and the construction of two roundabouts at Kingston.

BRETT DWYER

Project Supervisor

Brett has been with DCS Civil since its formation and also is a Director of the Company. Brett is an experienced construction supervisor and has experience on a variety of construction projects. Brett also holds a Bachelor degree in Natural Science and Wilderness Studies (UTAS) and is focused on the environmental impacts of construction projects. Brett has worked on predominately structural works including large scale deck replacements for Tasports at Macquarie and Franklin Wharf and more recently on Bridge Replacement for DSG including the Doctors Creek Bridge Replacement, Wacketts Creek Bridge Replacement and the Aspley River Bridge Replacement.

JAMES DEGROOT

Project Supervisor

James has been with DCS Civil since its formation and is a Director of the company. James is an experienced Site Supervisor and has worked on a variety of construction projects. James has extensive experience in concrete, road construction, aquaculture, horticulture and irrigation projects which continue to benefit DCS Civil Pty Ltd during the completion of related projects. James has supervised numerous projects including, Lonnavale Tank Grading, Huon Highway Sandfly Junction Left Turn Lane Upgrade, Lyell Highway Shoulder Widening Hamilton to Ouse, East Derwent Highway Jetty Road upgrade, South Hobart Stormwater Upgrade Stage 1, Taroona Pedestrian Traffic Light Signalisation and Molle Street – Collins Street Signalisation.
